34.5 Mobile Substation
Description:
To meet the mines power requirements for ongoing operations a new mobile substation was purchased and delivered in 2021. Locke’s Electrical completed the assembly of the unit.
Work included:
- Installation of catwalks, stairs and handrails
- Installation of gantry tower
- Installation of new transformer, reclosers and fused cut-outs
- Grounding
- Electrical installation of battery banks
- Electrical connections for the recloser control panel and NGR
