The Work entailed upgrades at the Owner’s Marystown, Bonavista and Grand Bay Substations.
Dismantle existing substation , relocate / reinstall power transformers, transport owner supplied equipment , substation yard extension , installation of chain link fencing & access gates , installation of cable trench & drainage system , installation of concrete foundations , installation of new control buildings , installation of new grounding grid , installation of lattice steel box structures c/w overhead buss , installation of gas filled circuit breakers , installation of gang operated switches , installation of CT ‘s & PT’s , installation of owner supplied control cabinets , installation of control wiring , installation of artesian well , installation of septic system, installation of new fuel storage tanks , installation of fuel management system .
