Gertrude Bradbury has been the General Manager of Locke’s Electrical since 1986 and President since 2017. She was educated at Memorial University of Newfoundland. Mrs. Bradbury has been responsible for establishing current and long range objectives, plans and policies that cover company operations, personnel, financial performance and growth. Prior to working with Locke’s Gertrude spent a number of years as a secondary school teacher in the province.
Gertrude is currently a Trustee for the 2330 and 1620 Benefit Plan Trust Fund, Director (Line Sector) of the CLRA and a Board Member of the Navigate Advisory Board, Grenfell Office of Engagement/CNA. She is also an active member of WPO (Women Presidents’ Organization).
Kevin Gosse is an established contractor in the transmission line industry since the 1990s. Previous owner and operator of K&G Construction, he has been responsible for the growth of the power line/Transmission Line and substation operations within Locke’s Electrical.
Kevin has extensive business experience in the electrical utilities sector. Beginning his career thirty years ago as a linesman, it became clear early in his career that his combination of work ethic, drive and dedication were the right combination to assume a management and leadership role. In 2016 he became a partner in the company and since then has found and optimized opportunities for the company to expand and grow. Today he leads the Project Management Team and works directly with clients to ensure successful execution and strengthen long standing customer partnerships.
Elizabeth Randell joined Locke’s Electrical in 1990 and has held various positions such as Administration Manager and is currently the company’s Secretary Treasurer and Controller. She is an accomplished senior financial executive with a steady hand in time of change and leads the strategic development of the company’s physical, financial and human resources.
Elizabeth is responsible for group operational and financial performance reporting while managing major capital expenditure prioritization and allocation of resource. She supports the team in considering acquisitions, disposals and financing.
Peter Sturge is a Red Seal journeyman by trade and has been the Superintendent for a wide array of construction projects within the province. Peter joined the Locke’s team in 2016 and has worked his way through the company in various site management roles, most recently becoming the company‘s Construction Manager.
Peter takes part in all phases of construction projects from tendering, field coordination and construction supervision. His dedication to projects and attention to detail has enabled him to ensure the corporate values and ethics of Locke’s are instilled in staff members while providing the management team feedback on tendering and construction sites.
