Supporting local communities is something Locke’s takes a great deal of pride in. Over the years, we have been substantially involved in the province by supporting other local businesses, donating to charities and helping create opportunities for young families to grow.

Annual Scholarship to Memorial University of Newfoundland (since 1998) – This scholarship is the result of an endowment established by Locke’s Electrical Limited, Corner Brook, on the occasion of their 50th anniversary. Valued at the interest on the endowment, it will be awarded on the basis of scholarship standing to an undergraduate student in any year of study who is a child or grandchild of a current or retired staff member of Locke’s Electrical Limited or one of it’s affiliates. If the scholarship is not awarded in one year then two may be awarded the following year. An application is required and may be obtained from, and returned to, Locke’s Electrical Limited, Corner Brook.
