BC-4 Conveyor System – Electrical and Automation
Description:
Following the fire which destroyed the BC-4 conveyor in 2015, IOCC started the rehabilitation and new reconstruction in 2017.
The electrical and automation scope included but not limited to:
- Installation of cable tray
- Supply and installation of all cables for the energization of the BC-4 motor, DC-15 motor and DC- 13 motor
- Supply and installation of all control wiring to operate the conveyor, devices, sensors, start stops, and 6 hydraulic chutes
- Installation of the fire alarm and protection system
- Supply and installation of all receptacles, led lighting, emergency lighting, exit signs, welding receptacles, etc.
- Supply and installation of cables for the following mechanical equipment
- 5 ton crane, 2 ton monorail, metal detector, rotary brush motor, sampler, and 10 ton crane
- Supply and installation of all required heat tracing
