Dewatering Project
Description:
During spring of the year IOC has a significant amount of run off in the mine which must be effectively managed. Since 2017, Locke’s has been engaged by IOC annually to assist in the dewatering program for both the in pit Sumps and Deep Wells.
Work includes the following:
- Installation of trailing cables
- Installation of new VFD powerpacks and completion of modifications
- Installations of NGR monitoring
- PLC wiring
- In line Splices for 2kV trailing cables
In addition, Locke’s Electrical was also engaged in the Luce Lake Dewatering Project which included:
- Installation of new 34.5kV OHL
- Installation of new E-house to power the dewatering Booster Pumps
- Installation new lighting along a floating dock
